By purchasing any CLARO VISA service, making a payment or booking a session, the Client confirms that they have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms.
1. Nature of the service and exclusion of legal representation
1.1. Purpose of the service
CLARO VISA provides consultancy, private advisory services, guidance on academic procedures and document support for study visa applications to the Czech Republic.
1.2. Exclusion of legal representation
CLARO VISA is not a law firm or a regulated legal advisory firm, and does not act as the Client’s legal representative or agent before public authorities. The Client understands that CLARO VISA:
- Does not practise law or provide formal legal defence.
- Has no power of representation or standing before the Ministry of the Interior (Ministerstvo vnitra), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministerstvo zahraničních věcí), embassies, consulates or any other immigration authority.
- Every visa or residence application must be submitted personally and individually by the Client.
1.3. No guarantee of outcome
The granting, refusal, inadmissibility or delay of any visa decision is the exclusive competence of the consular and immigration authorities of the destination country. CLARO VISA does not guarantee the success of the process and accepts no responsibility for the decisions of those authorities. Our fees cover the time, technical analysis and support provided; therefore no amount is refunded in the event of a refusal or an administrative delay.
2. Excluded jurisdictions and compliance restrictions
In accordance with the regulatory requirements of our payment processors, international anti-money-laundering rules and international sanctions regimes, CLARO VISA does not operate in, or provide services to persons who reside in, are located in or hold the nationality of, high-risk or restricted countries or territories, including: Cuba, Iran, Syria, North Korea and the regions of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, as well as any other jurisdiction included in the restriction lists of the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or of the European Union.
The Client declares that none of these circumstances applies to them. If any link to these jurisdictions is detected, the contract will be terminated immediately and the service cancelled without refund.
3. Services, fees and right of admission
CLARO VISA expressly reserves the right of admission. We will carry out a preliminary review of each applicant’s profile and may decline to provide our services if, in our judgement, the case does not meet the minimum conditions required by the immigration authorities, or for reasons of operational capacity.
3.1. Strategic Consultation — €129 (taxes included)
A 60-minute live online session that includes a short intake before the call, an analysis of the Client’s likely study and visa route based on their nationality, residence and programme, a review of the official requirements that apply to their situation, and the key uncertainties to confirm with the university or embassy. After the session, the Client receives a written summary and a personal document checklist with the likely order of steps. The session is booked and paid through Calendly, with payment processed by Stripe.
3.2. Full Visa Assistance — €890 (taxes included)
Structured support throughout the preparation of the application file: a personal checklist and timeline, document review in an agreed number of rounds, coordination of translations with certified translators, a pre-submission check of the application file, and agreed support if the authorities request additional documents. The exact scope and number of review rounds are set in the Client’s service agreement.
3.3. Specialized Support & Referrals
Where a case requires it, CLARO VISA may refer the Client to independent providers (for example, immigration lawyers, certified translators or accommodation providers). These providers work independently, invoice the Client directly and are solely responsible for their own services.
3.4. Exclusions
The following are not included in our fees and are borne by the Client: consular and government fees, international courier costs, accommodation and travel or health insurance costs, university tuition and application fees, and the cost of official certified translations into Czech.
4. Payment
Payments are made by credit or debit card through the Stripe payment gateway. The Strategic Consultation is paid in full when the session is booked through Calendly. Full Visa Assistance is paid in full when the service is purchased, through a Stripe payment link. Determinant s.r.o. does not store or have access to the Client’s card numbers.
5. Right of withdrawal and cancellation policy
In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and § 1837 of Czech Act No. 89/2012 Coll. (Civil Code):
5.1. Strategic Consultation
The Client may reschedule the session up to 24 hours before its start. The Client gives their express consent for the service to begin before the end of the 14-day statutory withdrawal period. In accordance with § 1837(a) of the Czech Civil Code, once the profile analysis has started or the advisory session has taken place, the Client loses their right of withdrawal and no refund is due.
5.2. Full Visa Assistance
- Cancellation within 14 calendar days, before any service has started: full refund of the amount paid, less 5% to cover the financial processing fees charged by the payment gateway.
- Cancellation within 14 calendar days, after services have started: a minimum of €150 is deducted to cover the operating costs of opening the file.
- Cancellation after 14 calendar days: the amount paid is considered earned for reserving capacity and the services already performed; no refund is due.
5.3. Self-service digital products
For digital products without human interaction (self-service checklists, guides or calculators), in accordance with § 1837(l) of the Czech Civil Code, the Client gives prior consent to the immediate delivery of the content and acknowledges that they lose their right of withdrawal once the download of, or access to, the product begins.
6. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Where the Client is a consumer under European Union law, this choice of law does not deprive them of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
For the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes, the Client may use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform or contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce — ČOI), Štěpánská 44, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic — coi.cz.
